Free features and Solar Outlook Plus

Today and tomorrow's weather-based solar forecasts are free. Linked equipment readings, recorded history, terrain daylight and the seasonal clear-day solar calendar remain free. Solar Outlook Plus unlocks the longer forecast, up to 14 days where weather data is available.

The UK subscription prices are £1.49 monthly or £7.99 annually. Your store shows the price and currency applicable to you before purchase. The annual price is charged as one payment. Subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed interval unless cancelled in Google Play before renewal. Cancelling stops future renewals; access normally continues to the end of the paid period. Restore purchases uses the same Google Play account. Removing the app does not cancel the subscription. Refund requests are handled through Google Play, subject to its policies and your statutory rights.

Forecast and equipment limitations

Weather, terrain, shading and energy calculations are estimates, not guarantees. Buildings, trees, snow, dirt, panel temperature, equipment limits and changing weather can alter output. Some battery values are explicitly estimated. Do not use Solar Outlook as a battery protection device, electrical safety system or sole source for decisions where power loss could cause harm. Keep the equipment manufacturer's monitoring, safety controls and guidance in place.

Only the device families described in the app are supported. Experimental battery profiles are labelled and may not work with every branded model or firmware version. Bluetooth range, Android permissions and background scheduling affect availability. The app does not perform equipment firmware updates or change charging settings.

Development and equipment requests

Subscriptions support current forecast access and continuing development, including equipment testing. You can request support for additional equipment without subscribing. Requests and reports do not guarantee that a device will be supported or that work will be completed by a particular date. No crowdfunding payment is included in this release.

Availability and fair use

We aim to keep the service available, but weather providers, Bluetooth connections, network access and store services can be interrupted. Reasonable request limits protect availability. Do not interfere with the service, access another person's data or bypass purchase checks. We may restrict abusive requests. Your consumer rights remain unaffected, including remedies where paid digital services do not meet applicable legal requirements.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing mandatory consumer protections in your country. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful.
